Poets' meet held at Udalguri organized by Rabin Baishya

UDALGURI: A poets' meet was held at Udalguri where several distinguished poets recited their poems. The poetry session was organized by Rabin Baishya at his residence on the occasion of the inauguration of 'Guru Griha' at his residence. The poets' meet was conducted by Gautam Jyoti Talukdar, the president of Udalguri district committee of Asom Kavi Samaj.

Poets Anju Goswami Kalita, Baidyanath Upadhyaya, Bhabesh Dutta, Sahadev Gautam, Pradip Baishya, Ranju Das and Baby Barman recited their poems. A book on Assamese verses titled Manthan, written by Rabin Baishya was released by Rupa Das on that session. Dilip Barua, a Vaishnavite preacher, expressed his views in the meet. Borgeet was also presented.
