Police arrested cattle smugglers in Nalbari

NALBARI: Nalbari police conducted a raid at Rangafali under Ghagrapar police station in Nalbari district on Thursday and apprehended two for allegedly smuggling cattle from Rangafali to Mukalmua, Nalbari, in a magic van bearing Registration No. AS25 DC8582). The accused were identified as Taijuddin Ali of Saplekuchi and Amser Ali of Suradi, Nalbari.

Meanwhile, 9 cattle were also recovered and the involved magic van was seized.

In this regard, a case was registered (631/21) and the three accused persons were forwarded to judicial custody on Thursday.
