Police Constable Commits Suicide

JAGIROAD: Amid the fanfare of Durga puja, a police constable committed suicide on October 16 at the Baghjap Electrical Subdivision near Jagiroad. The deceased, identified as Ghanakanta Bora(52) of Birohigaon in the district of Nagaon, committed suicide by firing from his service revolver. Morigaon SP Sapnanil Deka visited the spot and police investigation is on. However, the cause of suicide is not ascertained so far.
