Police seize 3,000 litres of petrol in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: A team of Golaghat Police, along with NRL police outpost, carried out a raid at Bahbari of Purabangla under Golaghat district on Friday evening. Around 3,000 litres of petrol illegally stored in the residential campus of Risheswar Singh were seized by the officials. DSP of Golaghat, Partha Protim Saikia said that Risheswar Singh managed to escape from his residence. In this connection, several persons are suspected to be involved. The police have started investigation for more details, said the DSP.
