Police seize 79.73 grams of heroin in Itakhola raid

JAMUGURIHAT: A police team of Itakhola outpost conducted a search operation complying all the NDPS formalities in the house of one Abdul Lotif, son of Abdul Rahman, resident of No. 2 Itakhola under Sootea, and recovered heroin weighing 79.73 gram in soap cases from his possession on Thursday. He was brought to Sootea PS later on. A case was registered vide Sootea PS Case No.74/2025 U/S 21(b)/29 NDPS Act and the aforesaid apprehended person produced before the Court of CJM Biswanath.
