Popular singer Debojit Borah to receive Demow Pran Silpi Award

DEMOW, Jan 16: Under the patronage of Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Demow Town Committee, in association with the people of Demow, Shilpi Divas will be organized at Demow Public Hall (Jyoti-Bishnu Building) on January 17.

According to the schedule, the programme will start with cleanliness drive which will be followed by flag hoisting of Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM). After that the swahid tarpan will be offered, ceremonial lamp will be lit in front of the photo of Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agrawalla. The Jyoti Sangeet competition will be organized which will be in three categories. The dance competition on Jyoti Prasad Agrawalla's songs will be organized in two categories. In the evening, the open session will be organized. Popular singer Debojit Borah will be awarded the Demow Pran Silpi Award by Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Demow Town Committee. Popular singer Milan Jyoti Mili will perform in the cultural evening.
