PPE kits distributed among COVID-19 warriors in Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: The Banderdewa regional unit of Lions Club distributed PPE kits, masks and sanitizers among the frontline fighters of COVID-19 pandemic in Lakhimpur on Sunday.

In order to encourage the COVID-19 warriors, the organization, led by chairperson Om Praksh Pacha, distributed these items among the doctors, nurses, security personnel, police personnel working at Banderdewa, Harmoti, Bihpuriya, Narayanpur areas under the district. The organization kicked off the programme at Banderdewa Check Point by distributing the items among the doctors, nurses and security personnel working there and then the programme was conducted at Harmoti Police Outpost, Narayanpur and Bihpuriya Police Stations.
