Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan programme held in Nagaon
During the inaugural programme, a special free health camp was also organized by Dew Care Hospital and Research Centre in association with Ushuf Memorial Society

NAGAON: Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan programme was ceremonially inaugurated in the district here at a function held at Nagaon Dew Care Hospital and Research Centre on Saturday. Dr Gulzar Hussain, district tuberculosis specialist, inaugurated the drive. During the inaugural programme, a special free health camp was also organized by Dew Care Hospital and Research Centre in association with Ushuf Memorial Society. In the health camp, the owner of Dew Care Hospital and Research Centre, Dr Faridul Hussain distributed free medicines, nutritional supplements and other kits for a month among 10 selected tuberculosis patients and also promised to provide them with it for next six months. Along with Dr Gulzar Hussain, Dr Faridul Hussain, Rouson Siddika and Mubarak Hussain respectively coordinator and inspector of district tuberculosis department, Nagaon were present in the inaugural programme, a release added.
