Prahelika Quiz Forum organizes second NE Quiz competition in Mangaldai

MANGALDAI: Prahelika Quiz Forum, one of the most active quiz forums in Darrang district, organized the second annual Northeast India Quiz and the Dilip Kumar Baruah Memorial All-Assam Open Prize Money Quiz competition. Additionally, an open individual-written school quiz and drawing competition for students from classes 5 to 10 was held at the Darrang district library auditorium, Mangaldai with a daylong programme.

Over 70 participants from the district took part in the written school quiz and drawing competition. In the drawing competition, the first, second, and third places were secured by Jug Bikash Saharia of Happy Child English School, Aparajita Dutta of Chapai, and Raktima Das of Mangaldai PM Shri KV School, respectively. In the individual written school quiz, the top three positions were secured by Mahan Gogoi of Mangaldai Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Hridoy Nath of Pokadali Higher Secondary School, and Katyayan Sharma of Jatiya Vidyalaya, Sipajhar, respectively. In the open quiz, which saw participation from 40 teams across Assam, the first place was won by Chiranjib Dutta of Mangaldai and Sandwipan Pathak of Jorhat, second place by Dilip Kumar Sharma of Darrang and Bijit Das of Nalbari, and third place by Rewati Mohan Phukan of Guwahati and Bhargav Bhushan Bishwapat of Pathsala. The other three teams selected for the final round were Rubul Kalita and Bhupal Sharma of Nalbari, Sonmoni Das and Saurav Kumar Talukdar, and Anshuman Thakuria and Bikash Das.
