Pramila Rani Brahma Distributes Materials Among ST, SC, and OBC Beneficiaries

KOKRAJHAR: A ceremonial distribution of grants-in-aid to the Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) beneficiaries for the year 2018-2019 under 30 No Kokrajhar East LAC was held on Thursday at Assam Industry in Kokrajhar. Organized by the Project Director (PD), Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Kokrajhar under the WPT & BC, Government of Assam, the Minister of Social Welfare and Soil Conservation Pramila Rani Brahma attended the function as chief guest and handed over the grants-in-aid to the beneficiaries.

GCI tin sheet, sewing machine, threads, bio-organic soil enracher, vegetable seeds and fertilizers, exercise book, Tablet PC, etc were distributed to over 1000 beneficiaries under 30 Kokrajhar East LAC. Project Director of Kokrajhar DRDA Bhaskar Jyoti Manta, ex-BTC EM Derhasat Basumatary were among those present on the occasion.
