Preparation on for Barnam National Drama Festival in Biswanath Chariali

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Preparations are going on in full swing at Kamalakanta Natya Samaj Kshetra, Biswanath Chariali for the sixth Barnam Mrinali Sharma National Drama Festival, 2021 with a three-day long programme to be held on January 9, 10 and 11, 2021. The festival will commence with flag hoisting ceremony by Amarjyoti Borthakur, president of Barnam at 8 am on day one. The festival will be inaugurated by Naren Sharma, Chief Patron followed by felicitation and stage inauguration. The stage will be inaugurated by eminent actor Jahanara Begum of Tezpur. The dramas to be played on day one of the festival are Suryar Antim Kironorpora Pratham Kironoloi (Barnam, Biswanath Chariali), Smriti Tar Sugandhi Pokhila (Surya, Guwahati) and Collage of Life (Abhinav, Lakhimpur).
