TEZPUR: Tezpur is gearing up for the first ever festival of words, Tezpur LitFest'22, on December 9, 10 and 11 at NERIWALM premises. The organising committee constituted under the chairmanship of Sonitpur Deputy Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra with inclusion of academically, culturally and socially aware citizens of Tezpur has left no stone unturned to welcome the authors, guests and participants to the Tezpur LitFest'22 to be held under the auspices of Tezpur Academy of Literature and Education (TALE) in the historic Tezpur city. This was informed by Dr. Sarita Sarma, general secretary of the organising committee of the fest while addressing mediapersons at a press meet held at the Tezpur Xahiya Xabha Bhawan on Tuesday in the presence of Joyshree Phukan, president of TALE, Hemanta Lahkar, social worker and other dignitaries.
One of the largest literary festivals in the North East region, Tezpur Litfest and Piro Space, India's top Metaverse companies have joined hands to host the Litfest's curtain raiser in the Piro Space metaverse. This virtual event will be graced by the best of local, regional, and international literary talent and students.
