Project Undertaken For Plastic-Free Majuli at Silakola Gaon

JORHAT: The first of its kind project to make Majuli plastic-free has been undertaken at Silakola Gaon in Karikorikota Anganwadi Centre under the initiative of the Majuli district administration and State Social Welfare department. Under this project, various models are made with discarded plastic products like bottles and packets. The project has been launched at the initiative of Deputy Commissioner Majuli Koyri to highlight the importance of saying no to plastic.
