Protest against 'anti-farmer' bills at Bijni in Chirang district

The activists protested in front of Ballamguri bus stand and burnt copies of the Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Ordinance, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Ordinance, 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020. Gajendra Barman from Nikhil Bharat Krishak Samiti and Parimal Chakraborty from CITU also took part in the protest. The activists shouted slogans against the bills.
