Protest against price hike of essential commodities in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: The activists of Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS) and Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) Golaghat district unit staged a protest near the Deputy Commissioner's office on Tuesday protesting against the sky-rocketing price hike of essential commodities.

The activists raised various slogans against the Union Government and Sarbananda Sonowal-led State Government and demanded to check the sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities in the State. They threatened that if the government did not comply with the demands of the people soon, they would launch a strong democratic movement in the days to come.
