Public Grievance Redressal Day held in Silchar

In a bid to redress the many pending public complaints, on the occasion of Public Grievance Redressal Day "Abhijuger Protikar" has been launched by Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli on Friday at the conference hall of the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

SILCHAR: In a bid to redress the many pending public complaints, on the occasion of Public Grievance Redressal Day "Abhijuger Protikar" has been launched by Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli on Friday at the conference hall of the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

While speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner Cachar Keerthi Jalli said, "This step will bring forward in delivering good governance. Every Friday hearing of public grievances will be undertaken from 10 am to 12 noon at the conference hall of DC office in presence of heads of all line departments to get quick action against pending grievances."

She said this would be a platform for convergence of works to be undertaken to ensure that common good is served for the purpose. She has suggested to clean the PHE water supply scheme from Anuwa Beel. She also suggested that the Beel can be cleaned of hyacinths through MGNEREGA, in addition to that Google tools would be used to keep track of action undertaken by individual departments actively on real time basis, stated a press release.
