DHUBRI: A unique and humane programme on adoption of puppies was organized under the auspices of 'We Animals'. The organization collects puppies from the streets and place for adoption. Bongaigaon Superintendent of Police, Swapnaneel Deka was the chief guest while the guest of honour, Prabin Kr Baishya attended the free adoption camp.

Bongaigaon Superintendent of Police Swapnaneel Deka while speaking at the meeting appreciated the love and feelings of the activists towards animals. "There is hardly any organisation in this part of Assam working on the wellbeing of animals, but activists of We Animal by putting hard work together made this adoption of puppies programme happen," Deka said.

Talking to The Sentinel, Director of Sukanya Commercial Pvt Ltd, Prabin Kr Baishya told that 45 puppies were collected from various places of Bongaigaon and Chirang districts.

"These puppies were given for adoption to the animal lovers who came from different places of Bongaigaon and Chirang districts with registration and instructions of adoption. All the adopters were thoroughly tipped as how to take care of them," Baishya added.
