Purabi Sales Record Amounts of Milk and Dairy Products
The brand had increased the procurement value recently to ensure that the dairy farmers of the state can get a part of the benefit of the high demands during Magh Bihu.

GUWAHATI: Magh Bihu, the harvest festival of Assam was celebrated across the state. Huge sales were recorded in terms of all food items including varieties of meat, fish and other ingredients. The local milk brand Purabi also mentioned that they made record-high sales on the occasion of Uruka this year.
The brand mentioned that they made recorded a leap in sales of their milk, curd, cream and paneer on the occasion of Magh Bihu.
The brand mentioned that they have recorded an increase of 17 per cent in the sale of milk volume during this year's Bhogali Bihu season as compared to the same time the last year. Mentioning this significant growth in milk sales and its subsequent effect on the economy of dairy farmers, it was mentioned that their sales exceeded 1 lakh litres per day on the two days before Uruka. Milk and dairy product sales figures crossed the 1 lakh litres per day mark for four continuous days during the Bihu season this year.
"Purabi products, with its high quality and availability, is loved by the consumers of Assam. Milk and milk products sales touched the all-time high of 1.4 lakh litres in a day on January 13," mentioned an official of Purabi Dairy.
Total curd sales increased by more than 35 per cent while paneer sales grew by 30 per cent and cream by 10 per cent this year compared to the figures last year. The sale of pouch curd was more than double the amount of last year reaching more than 112 per cent growth.
"The remarkable increase in the sales figures is a positive development for the dairy farmers of the state. This continued love from our customers helps us provide an enhanced revenue opportunity to the dairy farmers across Assam," the official added.
