Python rescued in Udalguri district

TANGLA: A 14-foot long python weighing 21 kg was rescued at Nalkhamara village in Udalguri district on Sunday night. A large number of villagers thronged the site to witness the reptile as it took hours of work for the forest officials to get hold of the python. Mrinmoy Hazarika of Dhansiri Forest Division, Udalguri led the rescue operation. It was later released at its natural habitat in Bornadi Wildlife Sanctuary.
