Quiz competition on road safety held at SS College auditorium in Hailakandi

HAILAKANDI: Coinciding with the 32nd National Roads Safety Month, a quiz competition on road safety was held at SS College auditorium here on Sunday.

Several rounds were conducted and at the end Global Central Public School secured the first prize followed by Arete Senior Secondary School and Sishu Sadan with second and third prizes respectively. Four numbers of prizes were awarded in special round with SK Roy College, Moinul Hoque Science College, SK Roy College and Global School bagging the first, second, third and fourth prizes respectively.

There were altogether 23 groups consisting of two members from schools and colleges of the district participating in the quiz competition.

The event was ably conducted by quiz master Satananda Bhattacharjee with LDA of the Office of DIPRO, Rajib Bezbaruah assisting him.

District Transport Officer, Syed Rafiqul Mannan was present on the occasion.

The event was organized by the District Road Safety Committee as part of the National Road Safety Month.
