Railway worker to be taken under CID custody
Railway Grade III worker Devaraj Das was apprehended by police on October 10 and Rs 1.83 crore was recovered from his possession.

BARPETA: Railway Grade III worker Devaraj Das was apprehended by police on October 10 and Rs 1.83 crore was recovered from his possession. During interrogation, Devaraj Das fell ill and was admitted to the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH). He was released from hospital on Thursday and taken to Barpeta Sadar police station. He will be taken under CID custody on Friday. This operation was laid by Madan Ch Kalita, DSP, Barpeta sadar.
