Rajesh Kumar appointed as Election Expenditure Observer for the 13th Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency

Dibrugarh: The Election Commission of India has appointed IRS Officer, Rajesh Kumar as the Election Expenditure Observer for the 13th Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency. After having arrived here, Kumar held a meeting with DC-cum-District Election Officer Pallav Gopal Jha; Superintendent of Police S. Sankaran; and officers of a couple of departments , including Excise and Income Tax, on Tuesday. In the meeting, Kumar took stock of the measures taken by the authorities concerned for keeping a tab on the expenditure incurred by the political parties and their candidates during campaigning.
