Rangia Police apprehended drug peddlers

RANGIA: Based on input provided by Gajraj Intelligencers, Rangia Police apprehended 2 drug peddlers on Wednesday. The operation was launched by the team from Rangia Police Station. Subsequently two individuals, Kailash Kalita and Dilawar Hussain both residents of Udiyana village under Rangia Police Station were apprehended. 1.3 Kg of suspected opium , one motorcyle (AS 01 BK 6020) and one Renault Kwid (AS- 14H 8111) were recovered and ceased from the location during the search operation and spot interrogation were done. An FIR has been filed at Rangia Police Station for legal proceedings. OC of Rangia Police Station is carrying out further investigation, stated a press release.
