Ranjit Kumar Dutta Leadership Lecture delivered in Dibrugarh University Auditorium

DIBRUGARH: Centre for Management Studies, Dibrugarh University hosted the inaugural Ranjit Kumar Dutta Leadership Lecture on March 14 at Rangghar – the Dibrugarh University Auditorium - attended by a galaxy of people from the oil and petroleum industry along with teachers and students from the University.

In his keynote address, MS Rao, former Chief Secretary of Meghalaya, recalled his association with Dibrugarh as the Deputy Commissioner and the tough times that he faced in the late 90s. He dwelt on leadership in a crisis and shared that B-schools of today should make their graduates e-savvy. The chief guest, Manoj Jain, CMD, GAIL (India) Limited also recalled his stay at Dibrugarh being on deputation to Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited. He talked about the uncertain times of today and the kind of leadership that may handle these tough situations.
