Guwahati: Assam Education Minister Ranuj Pegu on Saturday inaugurated a seven-day intensive training programme for State Level Master Trainers from Assam, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Mizoram under the “Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan” in Guwahati. The programme aims to prepare trainers for the effective rollout of the Dharti Aba Janajatiyo Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (#DAJGUA).

The flagship initiative seeks to empower 20 lakh field-level functionaries across the country to ensure the efficient delivery of government services, especially in tribal areas.

Under the Abhiyan, a dedicated cadre will be created:Aadi Karmayogis — grassroots government functionaries,Aadi Sahayogis — youth leaders, teachers, doctors, and social workers,Aadi Sathis — tribal leaders, self-help group members, and volunteers.

These groups will work together to promote inclusive growth and transformation in tribal communities.

Speaking at the event, Minister Pegu said the training will help master trainers guide local teams in implementing schemes effectively, ensuring that government benefits reach every eligible household in tribal regions.
