Rare 'Keko' snake rescued at Kholabandha char in Barpeta

BARPETA: A 'Keko snake' has been rescued by the forest officials of Bahari Forest beat office led by Banajit Das in Barpeta district. It may be mentioned that this rare species, 'Keko snake' was taking shelter in a mosque at Kholabandha char Village under Bahari forest beat office in Barpeta district. The authority of the mosque informed about the presence of the reptile to the forest department. The forest department of Bahari Forest beat office with the help of Kachumara police out post and mosque authority rescued it.
