Rare Species Of Chinese Pangolin Rescued Under Biswanath Wildlife Division

JAMUGURIHAT: A rare species of Chinese Pangolin (Manis pentadactyla) was rescued by local people in association with a team of foresters from the Western Range, Nagsankar under Biswanath Wildlife Division on Tuesday.

According to the information, the Chinese Pangolin was spotted in the house of Manipuri Mech, a resident of Na-Telia near here on Tuesday morning. The team of foresters later released the rare and endangered species in the sixth addition area of Kaziranga National Park.
