Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2020 begins led by District Social Welfare department

MORIGAON: With an aim to get rid of malnutrition in the country, the Rashtriya Poshan Maah-2020 started with a convergence meeting with line departments led by the District Social Welfare department at the DC's conference hall on Thursday.

In order to reach out to children who are suffering from malnutrition, the District Social Welfare department organized the meeting in convergence with its line departments like Health, DEEO, Agriculture, PHE, ASRLM and P&RD.

Deputy Commissioner Leena Das formally inaugurated the meeting in presence of CEO Kishor Thakuria, ADC ST Rahman, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Debajit Bora, Circle Officers, DEEO and heads of line departments.
