Rashtriya Poshan Maah commences in Nalbari district
The Rashtriya Poshan Maah and Matru Vandana Saptah in Nalbari district was launched on Wednesday in a function held at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

NALBARI: The Rashtriya Poshan Maah and Matru Vandana Saptah in Nalbari district was launched on Wednesday in a function held at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
Deputy Commissioner Gitimani Phukan, ADC Chayanika Thakuria, and other dignitaries were present in the function. A discussion regarding planning for Poshan Maah and PMVVY Saptah celebration and display of locally available nutritious food were chief agenda of the function.
The Deputy Commissioner, in her inaugural speech, stressed the importance of overcoming the challenge of malnutrition and also highlighted the various schemes undertaken by the Social Welfare department for the welfare of women and children.
