Ready to contest in Lok Sabha poll: Tezpur MP R P Sharma

Dhekiajuli: Tezpur MP R P Sharma, after prolonged treatment, arrived in Dhekiajuli on Wednesday. The MP was felicitated by party workers with phulam gamosa and bunch of flowers at Orang. Sharma said that he was fit to contest in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. He also added that he would contest the 2024 Lok Sabha election too.

Replying to a reporter’s question whether his daughter’s APSC scam would create any obstacles in getting a party ticket, the MP said that his family members were not involved in any APSC scam.
