Red horns division of Army in Kokrajhar organizes interactive session with veterans

Kokrajhar: A unit of red horns division deployed in Kokrajhar organized an interactive session with the veterans of the three services on Friday. In this event, registration of grievances and their redressal, issues related to pension, ECHS and information on second employment in the Territorial Army, recruitment opportunities for women in Army was disseminated. Ex-servicemen were also informed that all assistance in terms of preparation for recruitment examinations both physical and written tests will be provided to their wards. They were also educated on the need for registration on Directorate of Indian Army Veterans portal. Interactive kiosks for registration, medical inspection by Medical officer and CSD facilities were given to the ex-servicemen. This event was attended by 250 ex-servicemen.
