Red Horns Division of Army organizes lecture on World Malaria Day in Kokrajhar school

Kokrajhar: A unit of the Red Horns Division of the army conducted a lecture on causes of malaria and its prevention in Grace English Medium School, Ballamjhora in Kokrajhar on Thursday. The lecture targeted specifically to make the population aware of precautions and measures to be taken. The lecture by a medical officer was followed by an interactive session with the locals and students. At the end a small programme by the Jazz Band which included Bodo and Assamese songs was also organised.

A total strength of 195 which included students, teachers and locals attended the event. The motivation of the locals and students was evident both in terms of strength and zeal. By organizing such events, the Army is aiming for overall awareness of the society at a micro level.
