Relief materials distributed among mediapersons at Donkamukam Revenue Office

Donkamukam: Working journalists of West Karbi Anglong district of both electronic and print media received relief items such as rice, dal, mustard oil, salt, mask, soap and sanitizers under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on Thursday at the Donkamukam Revenue Office in West Karbi Anglong.
Altogether 60 media persons received the relief that was jointly given by MLA Dr Mansing Rongpi and West Karbi Anglong Deputy Commissioner Sayyad Isfaqur Rehman in presence of ADCs Anil Ch Das and Manosh Das. Speaking on the occasion, MLA of Baithalangso LAC, Dr Mansing Rongpi requested people through media to give respect to doctors, nurses, police personnel and frontline workers who were working day and night in the fight against coronavirus.
Besides, 1500 masks to each of the three town areas of Hamren, Donkamukam and Boithalangso, 500 masks each to nine MAC constituencies in West Karbi Anglong were also given.
