Religious programme ‘Mangal Dhawni’ held in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: The Mayamora Kola-Kristi Samannay Samaj, in association with Borguri Students’ Union and Borguri Anchalik Yuba Sangha, organized a religious programme ‘Mangal Dhawni’ to tide over evil forces and for the well-being of the society at the backdrop of the anti-CAA agitation in the Sangha premises on Tuesday. While the women joined the prayer with anti-CAA placards in their hand, the bhogots (preachers) performed religious rituals. A large number of local people, including students and elders, joined the programme.
