Republic Day: Cleanliness drive conducted by Tinsukia district administration

TINSUKIA: A special cleanliness drive as part of the 71st Republic Day celebration was organized by Tinsukia district administration in association with Tinsukia Municipal Board on Monday.
The drive led by Bhaskar Pegu, the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia, was joined by leading citizens, media persons, members from NGOs, employees of TMB and officials of the district administration, including ADC Gurnel Singh and TMB EO Prasanta Phukan. In its first phase, the cleanliness drive was undertaken from Thana Chariali to Prakash Bazar. Pegu also interacted with roadside stalls and hotels and advised them not to litter the main roads and to dispose the thrash at specified locations.
