Researcher Krishna Kanta Handique awarded with Bokul Bon Bota-2020

JORHAT: Krishna Kanta Handique, a researcher, folk artiste, and cultural activist was awarded with the Bokul Bon Bota-2020 at a glittering function held at the Sahitya Sabha auditorium. It was presided over by Bokul Bon Bota Foundation president Samiran Bordoloi. Dr Krishna Kanta Handique was awarded with a citation, seleng and cash. This award has been given away by Bokul Bon Nyak for the past several years to people for their immense contribution to folk culture, said Samiran Bordoloi, president of the Bokul Bon Foundation.
