The Assam Government via an order on July 17 has effected a reshuffle in the Assam Police ranks

Guwahati: The Assam Police has effected another reshuffle in its ranks on Friday (July 17), 2020.

Anand Mishra, IPS (RR-2011), Superintendent of Police, Charaideo, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police of Dhubri district with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Shri Yuvraj, IPS, transferred.

At the same time, Shri Yuvraj, IPS (RR-2013), Superintendent of Police, Dhubri, has been transferred and posted as the Commandant of the 1st Assam Police Battalion, Ligipikuhri with immediate effect from the date of taking over the charge against the vacant post.

In another move, Shwetank Mishra, IPS, (RR-2015), Superintendent of Police, Special Branch (Z), is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Charaideo, with effect from the date of taking over charge vice Shri Anand Mishra, IPS, transferred.
