Residential training meet for youths concludes in Dhubri

DHUBRI: A three-day residential training program of youths to build leadership on community development, organized by Dhubri Nehru Yuva Kendra, concluded here recently.

Altogether 40 youths from different parts of Dhubri district participated with an objective to develop leadership qualities to meet the challenges of community development. The program ended with a colorful valedictory session attended by Dhubri Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarter), Trinayan Bhuyan, secretary of Dhubri Red Cross Society, Rajiv Sarma, president of the Humanity, an NGO, Sudip Kundu, and academician Binod Jyotshi. Speaking in the meeting, Bhuyan called upon the youths to shape their tomorrow with the best qualities of life in a disciplined manner to become leaders in the community. “If you once become leader, you can be instrumental in the development of the society and gradually you will find strength in you and that strength will lead you forward with definite determination and aim to do good to the society. That is called leadership,” Bhuyan added. Earlier on day one, the program was inaugurated with lighting lamp and garlanding the portrait of youth icon Swami Vivekananda by distinguished guest, president of the Red Cross Society, Debmoy Sanyal. The participants also shared their experiences of the training and were given certificates. Dhubri District Youth Coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Sharif Ahmed, and DYC accountant Putul Sinha conducted the residential training program with reputed resource persons for three days.
