Retired Police Officer Nagen Baruah passes away in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Retired Assam Police officer Nagen Baruah passed away at his Beltola residence in Guwahati on Sunday. He retired from his service in the year 1994 when he was in charge of the Noonmati Police Station. He was a recipient of Police Medal in the year 1971 for his service during Bangladesh war when he was posted at Mahendraganj, now in Meghalaya. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a daughter.
