Review meet held at NCHAC CEMs' conference hall in Haflong

HAFLONG: In view of discussion regarding various schemes and projects implementation and achievement to the development of Dima Hasao district under the administrative control of N C Hills Autonomous, a review meeting was held at CEM's conference hall Haflong on October 16.

The meeting was chaired by Chief Executive Member, NCHAC Sri Debolal Gorlosa in presence of Principal Secretary of Hill Areas Department Sri Biswaranjan Samal IAS. Other present in the meeting were MLA Smt. Nandita Gorlosa, EM's of NCHAC, Principal Secretary(N) of NCHAC Shri Mukut Kemprai, Principal Secretary i/c of NCHAC Shri T.T Daulagupu, Secretary Smt Rebaca Changsan, Secretary, Meganjoy Thaosen and all DDOs.

In the meeting, Principal Secretary i/c Shri T.T Daulagupu gave a brief presentation that review on all the projects and schemes which were implemented and achieved under the administrative control of NCHAC before the Principal Secretary HAD Sri Biswaranjan Samal.

Highlighting various issues which were discussed ranging from staff strange of grade –I and grade –II officers, bank facilities, unconditional geographical location, hill terrains, problems of connectivity, fund delay, unconditional weather and climate which are major constrains that create great barrier while implementing and achievement of the projects and schemes.

Later on, it was discussed about the various issues of Food and Civil Supply department and the challenges and problem faced by the various departments and constituency while implementing the project and schemes.

The meeting was ended by Secretary of NCHAC Smt Rebecca Changsan with vote of thanks.
