Review meeting on Aspirational District Programme held in Goalpara

GOALPARA: A review meeting on 'Aspirational District Programme' was held on Tuesday at the conference hall of the DC office, Goalpara. The programme was chaired by Varnali Deka, Deputy Commissioner of Goalpara, in presence of all the departmental heads of the line departments. The DC, while addressing the officers, urged the departments involved to pick up pace and expedite the improvement of the respective KPIs of ADP. Besides, she instructed officers of the line departments concerned to review progress on a regular basis at the departmental level and ensure submission of data in the portal which should also be timely checked and reviewed with utmost responsibility. Goalpara district has improved its 'composite score' as an aspirational district among the north-eastern regional districts. It has improved its previous performance and occupied 16th position by jumping from the 64th position.
