Road mishap claims one on NH 15 in Sootea

JAMUGURIHAT: A magic driver who sustained serious injury in a road accident died on the spot on Friday evening. According to information, a Tata Magic truck bearing registration number AS 01 HC 8818 collided with a good-laden truck bearing registration number AS 26 AC 0246 on NH 15 near Bhaskar Jyoti Adarsha Vidyapeeth, Sootea on Friday evening at around 6.30 pm. A team of Sootea police reached the accident site immediately and recovered the body of the driver. The identity of the deceased driver was yet to be discovered, said a police official. Police investigation is on.
