Rokibul Islam is the customer of BJP's corrupt market: Shantanu Sarma

BARPETA: Investigating the SI recruitment scam, Barpeta Sadar Police and Nalbari Police started an operation at the house of ex Congress secretary of Barpeta district, Rokibul Islam, at Bhograndha near Gajia village in Barpeta district. For two hours the police team conducted the operation, but could not nab Islam. In this regard, Congress president of Barpeta district, Shantanu Sarma said, "Rokibul is one of the customers of BJP's corrupt market. He is not the member of Congress at present. During the time of Panchayat election he urged for the seat of Jania, but failed. After that he didn't renew his membership. So, he is no longer the member of Congress. Hence, Congress has not done corruption."

According to reports, the police team led by Nalbari Additional SP Asif Ikbal, Additional SP Jupi Bordoloi and Pranjit Das, I/C, Barpeta Sadar Police Station raided Rokibul's house for two hours. However, the team couldn't find anything substantial.
