Roof top solar system inaugurated at NTPC in Kokrajhar district

KOKRAJHAR: Anil Kumar Pandey, Regional Executive Director (RED-ER-II and WR-I) on Thursday inaugurated the roof top solar system at NTPC- Bongaigaon situated at Salakati in Kokrajhar district during his review to the station and reiterated the commitment of the station towards renewable energy.

Sources from the plant said NTPC- Bongaigaon had recently awarded contract for a roof top solar system (900 KWp) and as part of the same, the first phase was inaugurated at the Coal Bhavan of NTPC- Bongaigaon. The power generated from the system will be used for internal consumption. The rest of the locations will be installed in a phased manner.
