Rotary Club of Tezpur felicitates media professionals for service during COVID pandemic

TEZPUR: The Rotary Club of Tezpur and Rotary Club of Greater Tezpur felicitated media professionals of Tezpur with a certificate of appreciation to reporters and camerapersons in recognition of their service in the fight against COVID-19.

The felicitation ceremony held at the Conference Hall of the Rastrabhasa School on Sunday .

The programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Sonitpur, Bhupesh Chandra Das in the presence of Debasish Nath, Vaibhav Agarwal, President and Secretary of Rotary Club of Tezpur, Chairman of the Project Dr Laksheswar Bhuyan, Kavinder Jain and other dignitaries.

Members of Rotary Club were accorded warm welcome and felicitated with phulam gamosa and a citation in the event.

Ankit Khetawat and Bikash Jain, Secretary and President of Rotary Club of Greater Tezpur said that the Rotary Club wanted to extend gratitude and sincere thanks to the media, police, medical and safai karmacharis for relentlessly rendering services during the COVID-19 pandemic in the district.
