Rs 4.50 Crores Worth of Drugs at Karimganj, 6 Gold Biscuits at Guwahati Rly Station Recovered
Heroin in 52 soap boxes was recovered from the door of a truck from Mizoram. 6 gold biscuits were seized at Guwahati Railway Station. Details awaited.
GUWAHATI: Rs 4.50 crores worth of drugs was seized at Karimganj from a truck coming from Mizoram. The truck did not stop when signaled to do so at a check-post and instead tried to flee. Police is said to have caught up with it and searched the vehicle. Heroin in 52 soap boxes was recovered from the door of the truck.
Value of the heroin recovered is estimated to be worth Rs 4.5 crores.
Meanwhile, 6 gold biscuits were seized by police at Guwahati Railway Station. A person from Bihar was apprehended in connection.
