GUWAHATI: A gang of miscreants snatched an amount of Rs. 50,000 in cash from a girl in Guwahati on Tuesday.

As per reports, the incident took place near a bank in Lal Ganesh area of Guwahati on Tuesday when the girl was on her way back to home after withdrawing the money (Rs. 50,000) from a bank. The girl Monalisa Das, who had gone to deposit a cheque in her father's name, was approached when he was on her way to home. The miscreants, after approaching her, grabbed a bag she had with her and escaped in a bike. The bag contained the cash, reports said.
