The exam dates are not released yet, but they will be released soon on the official website of the APSC.

Earlier, prime accused in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) cash for job scam, Rakesh Paul, was granted bail by Gauhati High Court on July 22. Paul was granted bail in the case filed by the CID. However, his name is yet to be cleared in the case filed at Bhangagarh police station.

A Special Judge Court has framed charges against 'disgraced' APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) Chairman Rakesh Paul under Section 7 and 13 (b) of Prevention of Corruption Act along with Section 420 of IPC in the case (27/2018) registered with the CID (Crime Investigation Department).

It is to be mentioned that, the FIR was lodged against Paul by one Son Kumar Baishya. The complainant alleged that Paul had demanded Rs 10 lakh from him on the pretext of providing job.

The complainant stated in the FIR that he had already given Rs 5 lakh as an advance payment to Paul. Further, absconder Mofidul Islam – a key aide of former APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) Chairman Rakesh Paul – appeared before the Special Judge after he had got bail from Gauhati High Court the previous day.
