'Run for Peace and Unity' held by Lakhimpur Police Department on 73rd Independence Day

LAKHIMPUR: As a part of the celebration of the 73rd Independence Day, Lakhimpur Police Department organized 'Run for Peace and Unity' on Wednesday morning.

The programme started at 6.30am from Lakhimpur A-team field and ended in the same venue after covering a round of the town. The higher officers of Lakhimpur Police, police personnel, students, staff from civil administration and other departments, District Sports Association, Subdivisional Sport Association, NGOs and citizens along with media persons took part in the programme.

In addition, the 13th APBn and Lakhimpur District Police organized a road march on Tuesday as part of the Independence Day celebration.
