Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) organizes training on poultry at Sivasagar

GAURISAGAR: The Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sivasagar has organized a 10-day long training programme on poultry farming from Wednesday.

The training programme started with lighting of earthen lamp lit by Dr Akshya Bhat Keshari, District Veterinary Officer (DVO), Sivasagar. Pabitra Kumar Borah, Director, RSETI welcomed the guests and participants. He also narrated briefly about the aims and objectives of the training schedule.

Addressing the participants, DVO Dr Keshari emphasized the prospect of poultry in Assam. He urged the participants to take poultry farming as their livelihood through scientific attitude. In the inaugural function, Rajib Dutta, senior journalist, and NGO activists highlighted some success stories on how to survive by scientific rearing of poultry farming and its allied activities.
